Live Connected Vehicle presentation from the iATL - Infrastructure Automotive Technology Laboratory, a private-sector led initiative powered by Applied Information, where professionals can design, create, and test new developments in traffic infrastructure and the realm of connected vehicle technology.

Applied Information will show how to use CV to do emergency vehicle preemption, transit signal priority, remote intersection communications, bicycle and pedestrian collision prevention and many more! TravelSafely, the smart phone app will be introduced with live demo as well.

Peter Ashley

Peter Ashley is the Vice President of Business Development and Marketing at Applied Information Inc. Applied Information is providing new technologies and tools to the state and local DOTs, consultants, vendors and contractors to lower costs and increase the success for ITS deployments. Peter has over 10 years of worldwide experience in Intelligent Transportation Systems business working in 3 different countries. His global experience provides a different insight on the advancing ITS systems in our industry. Prior to starting Applied Information, Peter worked for Imtech Traffic & Infra in the Netherlands working on projects in 6 different countries. Before this Peter worked for Delcan Technologies and Intelligent Devices Inc that were both heavily involved in the NTCIP standards developments. Peter has been involved in some European deployments of connected vehicles technologies in the Netherlands as well as deployments in the USA. This knowledge provides a unique insight into the different approaches and what is the best solution for the market.
