This presentation discusses the importance of using multiple datasets to obtain an accurate measure of performance along a corridor. ATSPMs leverage high-resolution data from the controller to report intersection level analytics while utilizing a 3rd party GPS platform allows for obtaining broader, corridor-based metrics. Combining both of these data types into one platform allows for a complete approach to arterial performance measurement.
