Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) provide advanced technologies that help transportation work smarter, making it safer, more efficient, and more effective. ITS Midwest is one of ITS America’s longest standing chapters, and our member organizations have been promoting, deploying, and managing Intelligent Transportation Systems and services for many decades. This year we celebrate the 20th anniversary of ITS Midwest. Our annual meeting theme, “Connected Vision 20/20,” looks back to the past 20 years and forward to the next 20 years for leading the way to build the future of transportation.

Program Highlights

The annual meeting will feature industry leading speakers, including Illinois Secretary of Transportation Randy Blankenhorn and Sabrina Sussman, Vice President of ITS America for Membership and Development. Other highlights include a strong technical program, an informative exhibitor area, a technical tour and social events, a special 20th anniversary celebration, "Best-of-ITS" award announcements, and more.

ITS Midwest will host a happy hour in the evening of Tuesday, September 29, followed by a performance of "The Madness of Edgar Allen Poe" at the First Folio Theater. Our annual meeting will conclude with a tour of the United Parcel Service (UPS) Chicago Area Consolidation Hub (CACH), the world's largest ground package distribution facility.

We look forward to seeing you at the 2015 ITS Midwest Annual Meeting on September 29-30. Watch this site for additional information about the meeting program and sponsor/exhibit opportunities.
