WASHINGTON, Dec. 3 - The Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS America), ERTICO-ITS Europe, and ITS Japan will host more than 10,000 of the world's leading transportation policy makers, technology, and business professionals in Orlando, Florida from October 16-20, 2011 for the 18th World Congress on Intelligent Transport Systems. The conference organizers are planning to feature a live outdoor demonstration of ITS technologies. In order to facilitate planning efforts, the Technology Demonstration Committee invites interested organizations to submit a pre-application and participate on the First Demonstrations Planning Meeting to be held in January of 2010. If you are considering being part of the demonstrations, but do not have a clear vision of what to demonstrate, please submit a pre-application with the information available. A pre-application is required to be part of the meeting.
Submission of this application will serve as an organization's intent to participate. A formal application process will occur at a later date, which will be an expanded version of this form. At this time, information submitted will be considered the demonstrator's best guess at their possible demonstration.
Pre-applications are required and advance materials will be distributed to those who submit applications by 5 p.m. EDT on January 11, 2010 to ITS America's Patty del Pozo at pdelpozo@itsa.org and Sandra Collier at scollier@itsa.org .
A link to download the pre-application form is available at the ITS America web site.
