ITS Midwest invited to submit nominations for the 2009 Project of the Year Award. Two awards are contemplated: one each for public and private sectors. Nominations could be made by any ITS Midwest member, and a member could nominate his or her own organization/project. A nominated project must have been primarily conducted in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky or Ohio and/or conducted by an organization headquartered in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky or Ohio. Awards will be determined based upon project merit and significance and could result in multiple awards across both sectors. Projects conducted by a private company but on behalf of a public agency (e.g., the agency paid for the project) should be nominated in the Public Sector category.
To be eligible for nomination for "Project of the Year 2009", the project should have reached completion in 2009 or, if not completed, have produced significant results in 2009.
